Slashing-type forward who is the third signee for South Carolina from the Sunshine State … Averaged 18.0 points per game as a senior in leading Lakewood High to its first state championship … Started three seasons for Head Coach Dan Wright and helped lead the Spartans to two final fours and a region championship game as well … Named first-team All-Suncoast his junior and senior season … All-state pick as a senior and was the 2000-01 Times Pinellas County Player of the Year as a junior … Known for his flamboyant dunks and his electric style of play … Played in the Florida-Georgia All-Star game in April … Also considered Tulane, Fresno State, Oklahoma and Ohio State before signing with the Gamecocks.
