McPherson, a native of Conway, S.C., leads Carolina and ranks 11th nationally with a 74.13 stroke average after capturing two tournaments this season.

Gautreaux, who is second on the USC squad with a 77.00 stroke average, earned honorable mention honors after a solid first season with the Lady Gamecocks. She has three Top 10 finishes on the year, including fifth in the last tournament of the spring – the LSU/Cleveland Classic.

McPherson and Gautreaux currently are leading Carolina in the SEC Championships in Athens, Ga. Play began Friday and runs through Sunday.
