COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina’s men’s tennis team improved to No. 20 in the Omni Hotel National tennis Rankings released on Wednesday. Juniors Seth Rose and Angelo Niculescu were also recognized in the individual rankings. Rose continued to climb coming in at No. 34 this week. Niculescu also jumped in the rankings landing at No. 62.

The Gamecocks also gained recognition in the yearly SEC awards announced this week. Seth Rose earned Second Team All-SEC honors while Rose, David Nelson and Rodrigo Pacheco were announced as members of the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

The Gamecocks are currently awaiting the May 2nd release of the NCAA tournament brackets. NCAA competition begins on May 10th.
