Amanda Freed won her 97th career game as a Bruin. This is a new UCLA record. The former record was held by B’Ann Burns with 96 from 1994-1997.

Freed’s 10 strikeout performance vs Liberty moved her into 3rd place with career strikeouts. She now has 747.

Tairia Mims hit her 40th career double. She is now tied for 7th overall. Her homer in the 5th inning was her 38th career homer, 12th of the season.

Erin Rahn committed her first error since UNC-Greensboro on March 8th, 2002. It was her 4th error of the season. She played 25 consecutive errorless games.

Monique Mejia extended her hitting streak to 9 games.
