COLUMBIA, S.C. –
The South Carolina Gamecocks play host to a trio of teams as play in the 2002 NCAA Baseball Championships gets underway Friday afternoon at Sarge Frye Field. Stay tuned to www.uscsports.com for the latest regional information.

North Carolina and James Madison start play at 2 p.m. Friday with the host Gamecocks and VCU battling at 7 p.m. The two losers will play an elimination game Saturday at 11 a.m. while the two winners play at 3 p.m. After another elimination game Saturday at 7 p.m., the championship game(s) will be played Sunday at 1:30 and 5:30 (if necessary).

Single-game tickets are on sale now at the USC Athletic Ticket Office on Rosewood Drive and — based on availability — may be purchased at the game.
