Columbia, S.C. – The University of South Carolina men’s golf team signed one recruit on Thursday, July 11. Spence Andrews, a native of Richmond, Va., will join the Gamecocks in the Fall of 2002.

Andrews, graduating from John A. Logan junior college this summer, is a two-time Bobby Bowers Junior Memorial Champion (1998,1999). During high school, Andrews earned Richmond Golf Association Junior Champion honors, as well as making the all-metro high school team. The two-time Virginia High School League All-State team member won six tournaments during his junior college career.
