Columbia, S.C. – The University of South Carolina men’s soccer Head Coach, Mark Berson, earned his 350th career win after a 2-1 victory over N. C. State this weekend at the Duke/adidas Classic. Berson increased his win total to 351 after shutting out Duke, 3-0, to win the Duke/adidas Classic.

Berson, currently in his 26th year of coaching, has taken South Carolina to the NCAA Tournament 15 times, including two Final Four appearances and one championship match. Berson coached one year at The Citadel before taking the Head Coaching job at USC 25 years ago. In his one year stint at The Citadel, Berson coached the Bulldogs to a 11-5, The Citadel’s best record ever.

With such an impressive record, Berson is currently the 20th division I all-time winningest men’s soccer coach with a current record of 351-119-39.
