The third-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks head to Evansville, Ind on Sept. 20-22 for the Pro-rehab-Aces Classic and go for their third consecutive tournament title. On Friday, Sept. 20 South Carolina takes on Louisville at 5:00 p.m. USC closes out the tournament against host Evansville at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22. Earlier this month the men’s soccer team was crowned tournament champions at the Duke/adidas Classic and the Gamecock Soccer Classic.

The Gamecocks and Cardinals have only met once, prior to this weekend’s match-up. USC came out on top with a 4-1 score back in 1994. South Carolina and Evansville have faced-off five times with USC winning all five matches. The last meeting came in 1998 when South Carolina shutout the Purple Aces 3-0.
