Columbia, S.C. – The 18th-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks (20-4, 13-1 SEC) continue on the road as they close out the regular season against fourth-ranked Florida and Georgia. On Friday in Gainesville, the Gamecocks will face the Gators (24-1, 14-0 SEC) at 5 p.m. Carolina then heads to Athens for a 1:30 p.m. (ET) Sunday match-up against the Bulldogs (17-12, 7-7 SEC). The USC vs. Florida match will be televised on a tape-delay basis on FOX Sports Net South, Sunday at 3:30 p.m. (ET).

The Gators are the only SEC team to have beaten the Gamecocks this season. Carolina fell to Florida 3-0 back on Oct. 27 in Columbia. The Gators have won the last 17 matches against the Gamecocks and have not lost an SEC match since 1994. That loss was to South Carolina.

Georgia fell to Carolina 3-0 in the last meeting, but leads the series 33-11. The Gamecocks have won the last three matches and under Kim Christopher, USC is 10-11. The Bulldogs enter the weekend with a three-match win streak, posting SEC wins over Tennessee, Auburn and Alabama.

Carolina’s 13 conference wins are the most a team has ever recorded in Carolina volleyball history. The Gamecocks also recorded their third straight 20-win season last weekend. Carolina will play in the SEC Tournament in Fayetteville, Ark., Nov. 22-24.
