The University of South Carolina women’s basketball team cruised to a 90-60 win over Stockholm in their final exhibition game of the season.

The Gamecocks were led by senior Jocelyn Penn who scored 41 points.

“She’s a great athlete who has a nose for the ball,” said USC Head Coach Susan Walvius. “People will have a hard time finding an answer for her.”

The Gamecocks also got contributions from Petra Ujhelyi recorded a double-double by scoring 14 while bringing down 11 rebounds.

Cristina Ciocan also chipped in 14 while Koretha Johnson added 10.

The Gamecocks open up the 2002-03 season this Friday as they host in-state rival Clemson in the grand opening of the Carolina Center.
