COLUMBIA, S.C. –
Seniors Sam Alban and Megan Hosp were named to the Verizon Academic All-District Three Third Team today. South Carolina and the College of Charleston were the only two schools in the district to have multiple players honored.

Sam Alban, a senior from Portage, Mich. has maintained a 4.0 grade point average as a Psychology major. Megan Hosp, a senior from Pasadena, Calif., currently has a 3.21 grade point average as a Business major.

South Carolina next plays at the SEC Tournament as a number two seed. They will face seventh-seeded Alabama Friday morning at 11:30 a.m. in Fayetteville, Ark.
