The University of South Carolina women’s tennis team dropped to 23rd in the new Omni Hotels’ Collegiate Tennis Rankings released on Wednesday morning by the ITA. The Gamecocks were previously 18th in the poll before losing last Saturday’s match to Clemson 6-1. The Gamecocks who are 2-1 on the season look to get back on the winning track this weekend.

The Gamecocks will host NC State (2-1) on Saturday at 1pm while Middle Tennessee (2-7) comes to play the Gamecocks on Sunday at 1pm. Last year on the road, South Carolina defeated NC State 7-0 and Middle Tennessee 6-1.
