The South Carolina softball team (28-12, 12-7) will host the Florida Gators (32-13, 13-5) for a doubleheader Saturday, April 12, and a single game Sunday, April 13. The Saturday games are scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. and the Sunday game at 1:00 p.m.

The Gamecocks look to get back into the win column against the Gators. USC dropped two games in a midweek series against Georgia. Game three was cancelled due to rain. The Gators are coming off a 2-1 weekend against SEC leader Alabama.

Georgia leads the East with a record of 16-4. The next three spots, occupied by Florida, Tennessee (11-6 SEC) and South Carolina, are only separated by four games.

This weekend USC will celebrate “Can the Gators”, where fans who donate cans to the Harvest Hope Food Bank get in for $1 admission. Drop boxes will be at the game to accept donations.
