COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina’s track teams will compete at the Orange and Purple Classic at Clemson University on May 10. Saturday’s meet at Clemson’s Rock Norman Track Complex was not part of USC’s original schedule but was added to prepare for next weekend’s SEC Outdoor Championships in Knoxville, Tenn.

Carolina’s women’s team is currently ranked No. 2 in the nation while the men’s team is No. 6 in this week’s Trackwire Online Poll. Lashinda Demus is the nation’s top-ranked female in both the 400m dash and the 400m hurdles. Kenneth Ferguson holds the men’s No. 1 national ranking in the 400m hurdles.
