South Carolina will open up the College World Series for the second consecutive year as the Gamecocks face Stanford at 1 p.m. CT on Friday, June 13. Carolina will be the visiting team on Friday afternoon. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2. Last season Carolina opened up the 2002 College World Series vs. Georgia Tech.
