The 24th-ranked South Carolina women’s golf team shot a team score of 926 during the three rounds of the Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship in Knoxville, Tennessee, to earn a 13th place in their third and last tournament of the fall season.

Team captain Adrienne Gautreaux tied for 17th place as the senior shot a 77 in Tuesday’s final round for a three-day total of 223 (seven-over-par). Freshman Jenna Pearson recorded a 15-over-par 231 over the three days to tie for 45th place in her first collegiate event. Senior Marci Robinson cut six strokes off her Sunday and Monday scores on Tuesday as her third round 76 lifted her into a tie for 73rd place (240, +24). Sophomore Laura McCaslin recorded a three-day score of 241 (+25) to tie for 75th place. Junior Tiffany Catfygiotu finished in 78th place with a 243 (+27). Playing as an individual, Erica Battle tied for 56th place with her three-day 233 (+17).

The 2003 Mercedes-Benz Collegiate Championship was played at Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville, Tennessee (6,021-yard, par 72).
