Interviewed by Drew Greiner,USC Sports Information

What is it like being a student-athlete?

It is tough because you have to balance school and practice and its hard to have a social life. I also get to meet other people at different schools and make new friends. Overall it is fun and exciting being a student athlete.

What is your favorite thing about USC?

The athletic program. I think that they pay attention to the needs of the athletes.

What other sports do you like to watch besides equestrian?

I like pretty much any sport. I like watching golf on TV with my dad. I also like going to USC games. I also like tennis and supporting the Gamecock basketball team.

What is your favorite part of equestrian?

The bus rides we go on because everyone acts in different ways to pass the time. Sometimes the bus rides are long but we try and make them fun if possible.

What place would you most like to visit?

England or Australia. I wish we could have an equestrian meet in Austalia.

What is your most memorable moment as a rider?

This year. I qualified for Regionals. Hopefully I get to go to Regionals and qualify for Zones.

What is your favorite TV show?

My favorite TV show is Niptuck on FX.

What do you see yourself doing in 5 yrs?

Hopefully I will still be riding and competiting. I would like to also have a decent job. I would also like to have a pet to keep me company.

What are your plans for after graduation?

I really want to do something with writing either for a magazine or for sports. I also still would like to do something with equestrian and still ride if possible.

What competition are you most looking forward to?

In February the Varsity Championships in Conyers,GA.

What is it like competing for Coach Duncan?

When I first came here I felt like I had something to prove. Over the years I felt like I had to prove to Coach Duncan my riding .Now I feel like I have her respect.
