Athletics Director Dr. Mike McGee and CHAMPS/Life Skills Coordinator Collin Crick were on hand to accept the award at the Home Works Board of Directors meeting on January 18. Hank Chardos, Director of Home Works of South Carolina said, “The award is being given to you, student-athletes, and coaches to recognize the tireless efforts provided blitz after blitz to not only make repairs to homes of the elderly but to more importantly convey hope. The student-athletes have set a standard, an ethic of hard work and service to those in need in the community.” Throughout the past two years USC’s student-athletes, coaches, and athletics department staff have volunteered over 1,200 hours with Home Works.
