AUBURN, Ala. (AP) – Natasha Brackett scored 20 points and Le’Coe Willingham added 17, leading No. 14 Auburn to a 69-58 victory over South Carolina on Sunday.

Bracket shot 8-of-15 from the floor and was 3-for-4 from the foul line for the Tigers (20-5, 8-3 Southeastern Conference). Nicole Louden had a game-high 11 assists.

Kelly Morrone led South Carolina (10-13, 1-9) with 18 points, and Cristina Ciocan added 12.

The Tigers trailed 36-32 at halftime, but went on a 10-2 run in the opening minutes of the second half to take a 44-40 lead with 14:01 remaining.

The Gamecocks answered with a 14-6 run, topped by a Ciocan’s 3-pointer. Auburn tied the game 54-all with 5:57 left on Marita Payne’s jumper.

Louden and Louise Emeagi made back-to-back 3-pointers on the Tigers’ final 15-4 run to clinch the victory.

Auburn hit 56 percent of its second-half shots, and finished at 50 percent shooting.

South Carolina shot 41 percent and was outrebounded 32-28.
