The University of South Carolina’s women’s tennis team opens the 2004 SEC schedule at home on Friday against the Arkansas Razorbacks at 2 p.m. The Gamecocks enter the match with a 3-2 record on the season while the Razorbacks are 7-1 on the season.
USC leads the overall series 12-2 and holds a 7-0 mark in Columbia. Last season, USC defeated Arkansas 6-1 in Fayetteville. After opening the conference schedule on Friday with Arkansas, the Gamecocks will then host LSU on Sunday at 1pm. The Gamecocks defeated the Tigers 5-2 last season in Baton Rouge and holds a 13-1 mark against LSU.
South Carolina will conclude their four-match home stand on March 1st when they host University of Tennessee-Chattanooga at 2:30. After facing the Mocs, USC will travel to Lexington to face the Kentucky Wildcats on Friday, March 5th.
