Columbia, S.C. – Danielle Wiggins, a sophomore on the University of South Carolina’s women’s tennis team is ranked 54th in the country in the most recent ITA singles rankings. Wiggins is currently on a four match winning streak and is 7-2 in the dual match season this spring. Two of the four matches have been against ranked opponents that she beat in straight sets while her two losses over the spring have been against two players that are ranked in the top 50 in the nation. Wiggins is 13-6 on the year and is 34-19 in her career in singles. She earned her first ever national ranking just two weeks ago and was ranked 85th in that release.
