Columbia,S.C. –

The University of South Carolina will have representatives competing in Erskine, S.C, for a chance to qualify and continue their postseason. The riders who will compete tomorrow have accumulated enough IHSA points throughout the season to compete in this competition. This competition is unique because the riders for the Gamecocks are competing against each other instead of against another team.

Two of the competitors for the Gamecocks will be Tara Brothers and Dana Hancock. Brothers, a Co-captain from Bend, Ore., has been a consistent performer for the team throughout the year. Hancock has also had a consistent season by contributing in competitions against University of Georgia, Auburn University and Berry College as a freshman.

The competition in Erskine, S.C. is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. The competition will also feature teams in the region who have performed well this year in IHSA competitions. Some of the other schools scheduled to compete will be the University of Georgia, Berry College and Judson College.
