Browns Summit, North Carolina – The University of South Carolina women’s golf team shot a 300 (+20) Saturday to remain in 14th place with a two-day score 610 (+34) at the Bryan National Collegiate Tournament. Sunday’s final round begins at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start.

Sophomore Erica Battle leads the Gamecocks after firing an even par 72 on Saturday and is tied for 30th in the tournament (150, +6). Team captain Adrienne Gautreaux carded a 73 Saturday holds a share of 35th place (151, +7). After opening with a 74 Friday, Kory Thompson shot a 82 Saturday and is tied for 59th place (156, +12). Jenna Pearson is tied for 64th place with a 13-over-par 157 while Megan Miller is 79th with a 17-over-par 161.

Three-time defending champion Duke leads the tournament with a two-day-total of 571 after the Blue Devils carded a six-under-par 282 in the second round. Duke holds a 12 shot lead over Auburn, in second place with a 583, and 14 shots ahead of co-host Wake Forest, 585.

Duke’s Brittany Long and Vanderbilt’s May Wood share the lead with a four-under-par 140 after Lang fired a 69 Saturday and Wood answered with a 68.

Co-hosted by Wake Forest and North Carolina-Greensboro, the seventh annual Bryan National Collegiate takes place at the par 72, 6064 yard Bryan Park Champions Course in Browns Summit, North Carolina.
