Columbia, S.C. – Sophomore Danielle Wiggins was ranked 30th in the NCAA Division I Single Rankings released today by the International Tennis Association. Wiggins is 19-9 overall on the season and has posted a 13-5 mark in the dual matches at the number one singles position this season. Six of her 13 wins in the spring have came against players that are nationally ranked with four of them coming against players ranked in the top 50 of the nation. Heading into the final two matches of the regular season, Wiggins has won five in a row with one of the matches coming against #6 Agata Cioroch of Georgia in straight sets. Wiggins and the Gamecocks take on #46 Marshall on Wednesday at 1pm and then will conclude their regular season schedule with a match against #2 Florida on Sunday at 1pm.
