Columbia, S.C. – The University of South Carolina men’s golf team fired a 301 to remain in 16th place at the Carpet Capital Collegiate. Fellow SEC opponent Georgia finished the day at the top spot at The Farm in Rocky Face, Ga. The third round of play will take place on Sunday, Nov. 7.

Alex Hamilton (77-72) finished the round in a tie for 13th place and leads all Gamecock golfers with a score of 5-over. Jake Thompson (80-72) shot even par to move up to 37th on the leaderboard. Eirik Johansen (80-79) and Robert Svensson (81-78) are tied for 71st, while West Streib (85-81) finished tied for 86th.

The Gamecocks 3rd round is set to start at 8am on Sunday.
