“I felt like we worked extremely hard in the first half. We didn’t rebound the ball very well, especially in the first half. We did work hard defensively. I was pleased we were able to take the lead at halftime. Western Carolina was playing its fifth game in the past eight days. I thought we may be able to wear them down. Ironically, when we halted our full court pressure, we did much better with our half court game. We must rebound the ball better. Once we started rebounding, we were able to convert some opportunities. We ran our half court offense and we began to execute and get some good shots.”
