Columbia, S.C. – Ticket applications for the upcoming 2005 University of South Carolina baseball season will be mailed this week to Gamecock Club members and USC faculty and staff. Season ticket prices are $160 for reserved seats; $95 for USC faculty/staff and senior citizens; and $120 for standing room only. These prices rank behind three other Southeastern Conference schools, and over the 33 regular season home schedule, a reserved ticket averages out to just $4.85 per game.

Under the direction of head coach Ray Tanner, Carolina has advanced to three consecutive NCAA College World Series and over the last five years, the Gamecocks have won more games (260) than any other Division 1 program. In the latest preseason poll, Carolina is ranked #7 by Baseball America.
