The University of South Carolina women’s tennis team will play 21st ranked Michigan on Friday at 2:30 pm at the USC Indoor Tennis Facility. The Gamecocks, 1-0, are coming off a 4-3 win against Furman on Tuesday in Greenville while the Wolverines are 2-2 on the season.

The match is the first of four straight at home for Carolina before going on the road to open up the 2005 SEC schedule. Last season, USC dropped the match to the Wolverines 6-1 in Ann Arbor. The meeting is the third between the two schools with the series tied at one win a piece. After the match on Friday with Michigan, the Gamecocks will play Maryland at 10 am at the USC Indoor Facility. The Wolverines will face Maryland on Saturday at 12 noon.
