The South Carolina women’s softball team was unable to play the final day of the Leadoff Classic due to rain in the Columbus, Ga. area. All games for Sunday have been cancelled. Carolina finished the tournament 3-1 with victories over Southern Illinois, No. 13/15 Georgia Tech and Massachusetts. USC returns to action on Friday, Mar. 4 when the Gamecocks compete at the Buzz Classic in Atlanta, Ga. The Gamecocks will face Boston University at 4 p.m.
