Lubbock, Texas – South Carolina senior outfielder Brendan Winn has been named to this week’s College Baseball Foundation National Honor Roll. Winn is one of several players highlighted by the College Baseball Foundation following his performance in this weekend’s two-game series with the Clemson Tigers.

Winn’s two-run homer at Clemson in the sixth inning broke a 2-2 tie and led the Gamecocks to a 6-3 win in the series opener and his bloop double in the eighth inning of Sunday’s game capped a rally that gave Carolina a 6-5 win. Winn leads the SEC in home runs with eight and is second in runs batted in with 24 on the year.
