South Carolina rolled past USC-Aiken on Thursday night at the Colonial Center 95-63 in the Gamecocks only exhibition this season. USC will open the regular season on Friday, Nov. 18 at Western Carolina before returning to the Colonial Center for a 1:30 pm match-up with Toledo on Sunday, Nov. 20.

The Gamecocks were led by senior Rocky Trice who led all scorers with 15 points. In his Gamecock debut junior Bryce Sheldon scored 13 points. Renaldo Balkman pulled down a game-high seven rebounds. Antoine Tisby had three blocks and Tre’ Kelly, who came off the bench when Stephen McDowell started his first career game, had a game-high four assists.

Every Gamecock on the roster scored at least four points and each played double-figure minutes.

USC led 55-26 at the half. Tarence Kinsey, who hit a three-pointer to win the NIT final against St. Joe’s led USC into the 2005-06 season, hitting the team’s first points of the year, a three-pointer. Kinsey finished with seven points.
