Columbia, S.C. –
Comcast Sports Southeast announced that it will televise a pair of South Carolina women’s basketball games against No. 1 Tennessee and against No. 17 Georgia, respectively. The Gamecocks and Lady Vols square off at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4 in the Colonial Center, with Carolina hosting the Bulldogs at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 26.

With CSS picking up these two games, it means that the Gamecocks will be on television at least five times this year, as Carolina was previously scheduled to appear in televised games against Arkansas (Fox Sports South) on Jan. 29, at Auburn (Fox Sports South) on Feb. 16 and at the SEC Tournament (every game at the conference tournament will be televised by Fox Sports South, with the championship game televised by ESPN2.)

The Gamecocks travel to Clemson for a final non-conference game set to tip off at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 2 before the SEC portion of the schedule starts with the top-ranked Lady Vols rolling into the Colonial Center on Jan. 4.
