The South Carolina men’s soccer team (2-1-0) moved up three spots to No. 21 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Poll, released Tuesday by the organization. The Gamecocks were No. 24 in the preseason poll.

The Gamecocks are one of four Conference USA teams in this week’s poll. SMU is No. 3, Kentucky is No. 20 and Memphis is tied for 23rd. South Carolina is currently No. 5 in the loaded South Region.

Carolina plays three games at home this week beginning with tonight’s match against Centenary, set for a 7 p.m. start. USC hosts the adidas/Gamecock Classic this weekend.
