The University of South Carolina men’s soccer team and the Columbia YMCA will be teaming up to host the eighth annual “Kids Kicking for Cancer” Child and Parent Soccer Clinic (CAPS). The Clinic is open to kids ages 4-14 and will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 24-25, from 2:30- 4:30 p.m. at USC Indoor Fieldhouse, located on Whaley Street. Proceeds will benefit the Children’s Chance organization.

The C.A.P.S clinic allows parents and children to learn and enjoy the game of soccer together, while also helping fund programs for and services that address the emotional, social and educational needs of children with cancer . Children will be grouped according to age and ability. Parents are welcome to participate or observe if they wish.

Cost for YMCA members is $50 and $60 for non-members. T-shirts and snacks are included in the cost. All proceeds will go to The Children’s Chance Organization, whose mission is to provide funding for programs and services that address the emotional, social and educational needs of children with cancer.
