Columbia, S.C. – The University of South Carolina women’s soccer team has announced its signing class of 2007 for the February signing period. The list includes players from the states of South Carolina, Delaware, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania and features a high school All-American, state player of the year and a Top 200 recruit according to Soccer Buzz.

“We are extremely excited about the incoming class for 2007, ” said USC head coach Shelley Smith. “We have high expectations for this group of top quality players with the talent, athleticism and commitment they bring with them to the program. They are all eager and ready to begin their collegiate careers on the field for USC, and our staff is truly looking forward to the addition of such a talented and coachable group. The incoming players have had the chance to bond with each other and with our current players over the past year, and have already established a wonderful team chemistry. We are excited to see what they can do when they all come together on the field this fall!”
