COLUMBIA, S.C. — The South Carolina women’s tennis program will host the annual Southern Intercollegiate Championships beginning Friday and concluding Sunday. Four locations will be utilized for the tournament including Maxcy Gregg Tennis Center, Sam Daniel Tennis Center, Columbia Tennis Center and the USC Indoor Fieldhouse. Admission to the event is free.

The tournament features nine singles draws consisting of 16 players and nine doubles draws with eight teams in each. Consolation matches will be played in every draw. Play begins Friday at 9 a.m. with doubles matches.
