COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina men’s and women’s track and field teams will take on Denison University in a preseason meet Friday, January 11 at Disney’s Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Fla.

Friday’s meet will be the Gamecocks’ first competition before the indoor season starts next weekend at the UNC Classic in Chapel Hill, N.C. The women’s team is ranked sixth in the USTFCCCA indoor preseason poll after finishing 10th in the NCAA Indoor Championships last season.

Carolina returns two women’s indoor All-Americans in sophomores Krystal Cantey and Brandi Cross. Both were members of the 4x400m relay team that won the national championship with a time of 3:29.57. The men’s side returns three indoor All-Americans in sophomore Quentin Moore and seniors Keith Hinnant and Ray Miley. All three participated in the 4×400 relay.
