BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. – The South Carolina equestrian team will host the 2008 Southern Equestrian Championships at One Wood Farm in Blythewood from March 28-29. Second-seed South Carolina and third-seed Auburn will compete Friday, March 28 at 2p.m. with the winner advancing to compete against top-seed Georgia Saturday, March 29 at 10 a.m.

South Carolina will also holds its Senior Day before Saturday’s competition. The Gamecocks will honor their seven seniors at 9:15 a.m. prior to the final day of competition.

Directions to One Wood Farm: Take I-77 North to Exit 27, (Blythewood Road). Turn left back over the interstate and past the University Club. Take the first road on the right, which is Syrup Mill Road, and OneWood Farm is the first driveway on the left. Signs will be posted.

Friday, March 28 – #2 South Carolina (2-2) vs. #3 Auburn (1-3) – 2 p.m.
Saturday, March 29 – #1 Georgia (3-1) vs. South Carolina/Auburn winner – 10 a.m. (Senior Day program at 9:15 a.m.)
