TEMPE, Ariz. – South Carolina had two players selected to the 2008 ASU Sheraton Volleyball Classic All-Tournament Team, as redshirt senior middle blocker Belita Salters and junior outside hitter Ivana Kujundzic garnered the honors that were voted on by the participating coaches.

Salters averaged 3.08 kills per set on the weekend, tops on the team, and she set a personal best with 21 kills and a .543 hitting percentage in the five-set victory over UNLV on Saturday. She also leads South Carolina with a 0.92 block-per-set average through the first three matches.

Kujundzic compiled a 3.00 kills-per-set mark in the three matches, while standing fourth on the squad with a 2.42 digs per frame. Kujundzic’s .267 hitting percentage ranks third on the team, and it is tops among the outside hitters.

The Carolina Gamecocks return to the court on Friday, Sept. 5 against Boston College and Rhode Island in the Ram Classic Invitational in Kingston, R.I.
