Clemson Games Results in PDF Format Get Acrobat Reader

CLEMSON, S.C.Matt Shuler won the pole vault and Scott Pierce set a new PR to conclude the Gamecock effort Saturday at the JRF Multi-Event Challenge and Clemson Games held at the Clemson Indoor Track & Field Complex.

Shuler won the men’s pole vault with a clearance of 15’7″ (4.75m). Kevin Brinkley took third at 15’1″ (4.60m). Jerry Thompson III placed sixth at 14’7.25″(4.45m).

Eddie Stoudemire took fourth in the heptathlon with 5016 points after beginning the second day of competition in sixth place. Scott Pierce came in fifth with 4,973 points, setting a new personal best for the redshirt sophomore. Curt McGill finished 13th with 4,410 points.

Allison Nicosia took third in the women’s pole vault at 11′ (3.35m). CaAdrian Norman and Jocelyn Henline tied at fifth with a clearance of 10’6″ (3.20m).

The Gamecocks, ranked No. 12 on the women’s side and No. 14 on the men’s side, will travel to New York City next weekend when the team travels to compete at the prestigious New Balance Collegiate Invitational at the Armory Track.
