COLUMBIA, S.C. –
The South Carolina athletics department’s goal of “Operation Sellout” for the Feb. 7 men’s basketball game has nearly been fulfilled, as less than 500 tickets remain for the 5 p.m. matchup against Georgia. Fans are encouraged to attend and join the Garnet Army in selling out Colonial Life Arena. Free door prizes, 2,000 free rally towels and other exciting events are planned in conjunction with the game.

The evening will also serve as Gamecock Club Appreciation Day, the Gamecock Club Chapter Challenge, Life Night for area churches and Car Dealer Appreciation Night. In addition, a special halftime performance from “Simon Sez” will help build excitement at the venue.

“If we have anywhere close to the number of walk-up tickets bought at the last home game against Vanderbilt on Jan. 28, we should reach our goal of a sellout,” said Lance Grantham, Director of Ticket Operations. “We strongly encourage fans to order tickets in advance in order to guarantee a seat to the game.”

There are several ways you can help make “Operation Sellout” a success. Single game tickets are still available starting at $15 by calling 800-4SC-FANS (800-472-3267) or by going to GamecocksOnline.com. The Gamecock Flex Pack is also still on sale, which includes eight ticket vouchers that can be used for any game, in any combination, at any time for only $98. And finally, several group packages are available by calling 803-576-9077.
