–Tonight’s attendance of 18,000 marked the second sellout for a men’s basketball game in the seven-year history of Colonial Life Arena. The only previous sellout came March 3, 2004, against Kentucky.

–The Carolina win was only the second in the last seven meetings with Georgia. The Gamecocks have won two in a row in Columbia, but had lost the previous two meetings at Colonial Life Arena. Georgia now holds a slight 46-45 all-time advantage in the series.

–The Gamecocks are 5-0 at home in conference play for the first time since the 1998 season when South Carolina won its first seven league games at home. It is the first 5-0 SEC start for the Gamecocks since Colonial Life Arena opened for the 2002-03 season.

–South Carolina went 10-for-22 from three-point range in the game, including a 70% mark in the first half (7-for-10).

–Sam Muldrow scored a career-high 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting and added seven rebounds in the victory. Muldrow’s previous career high was 12 points, set last season against Baylor.

–Dominique Archie finished one rebound shy of a double-double as he poured in 13 points (3-of-4 from three-point range) and added nine rebounds.

–Devan Downey hit double-figures for the 21st time in 22 games this season with a 10-point effort tonight. He also contributed eight assists, equaling a season-best.

— Five Gamecocks finished in double figures (Muldrow 18, Archie 13, Fredrick 13, Holmes 12, Downey 10). It was the fifth time this season that at least five Gamecocks hit double digits in the scoring column.
