COLUMBIA, S.C. – Senior Jason Richardson from the South Carolina track and field team has been named AgSouth Athlete of the Week.

Richardson won his first SEC indoor title in the 60-meter hurdles in just his second meet of the year. He is the first 60mH champion for the Gamecocks since 2000. Richardson is one of only two hurdlers in the nation with an automatic qualifying time for NCAAs this year and his time is the fastest in the country as well.
