The University of South Carolina and Davidson College will compete in a doubleheader of sorts on Tuesday, March 16, 2009, in Columbia. The two baseball squads will square off at Carolina Stadium at 7 p.m., while the men’s basketball teams will meet in an ESPN2 nationally-televised game about a mile away at the Colonial Life Arena, also at 7 p.m.

Fans attending the baseball game can park in Lot B at the Colonial Life Arena. Lot B is bordered by Blossom, Devine, Lincoln and Gadsden Streets. The shuttle service will run from Lincoln Street to Carolina Stadium beginning at 5 p.m. The cost is $1.50 round trip per person.

Gamecock Club sesaon basketball parking passes will be honored in Lot A (directly across from the Colonial Life Arena), the DOT garage and in the Discovery parking garage with entry via Park Street. Club parking is first come, first serve and is not guaranteed. All other surface lots will charge $5.00 to park. Gamecock Club membership cards will not be honored as is the case during the conference season.

Tickets for the opening round of the postseason NIT are on sale now. Ticket prices are $18 for lower bowl seats, $15 for upper bowl seats and $4 dollars for student tickets.
