COLUMBIA, S.C. –
Inclement weather in the greater Columbia area has forced the cancellation of Thursday’s scheduled softball game in between South Carolina and Winthrop.

There will not be a makeup date for this game. The washout is the sixth of the season for the Gamecocks, who play next on Tuesday afternoon at 5:30 p.m. against another in-state rival, Coastal Carolina.
