COLUMBIA, S.C. — Senior Ana Marija Zubori and sophomore Dijana Stojic from the South Carolina women’s tennis team were selected to the All-SEC Team, the league office announced Wednesday.

Zubori made the All-SEC First Team for the second year in a row to become South Carolina’s first multiple-time first-team selection in school history. The senior made the second team in 2007 and 2008 and is now just the second player in school history to achieve All-SEC honors four times. Last season, Gira Schofield became the first. Zubori is also one of only three players in Gamecock history to earn first-team accolades.

Currently ranked No. 53 in the nation, Zubori posted her fourth 20-win season in a row in singles and has a 24-14 record overall. She has played every dual match this season at No. 1 singles, where she is 12-11 and 6-4 in SEC matches. Zubori is second in school history in career singles victories with 108, fourth in doubles wins with 82 and third in combined wins with 190. Looking at the most recent ITA rankings, Zubori owns nine victories against players ranked in the top 125.

Stojic is making her inaugural appearance on the All-SEC Team as a second-team member. Stojic leads the team in dual match victories this season with a 17-6 slate. All of her spring matches have come at No. 2 singles and she is 21-15 overall for the season. She finished second on team in SEC wins with an 8-3 mark. Stojic is ranked No. 83 in the country for singles and is currently positioned at 14th in doubles with Zubori.
