Breaking News Update – 6:04 p.m.
6:04 p.m. – The Bucknell/Virginia Tech agme has resumed play at 6:04 p.m., following a 37-minute rain delay. Fans can follow the progress of the game by clicking on the link above or the Free Live Game Audio & Video link.
There will be at least a 50-minute gap betwen the VT/Bucknell game and the South Carolina/Citadel game.
5:52 p.m. – The VT/Bucknell game will resume play at 6 p.m. The game was suspended in the top of the sixth inning with the Hokies leading Bucknell 11-4.

5:34 p.m. – Fans with tickets to tonight’s South Carolina/Citadel game will be allowed to enter Carolina Stadium at 5:30 p.m. even though the VT/Bucknell game is still being played. Fans that choose to enter the stadium early should keep their tickets because Carolina Stadium will be cleared out following the VT/Bucknell game, and fans with tickets to the South Carolina/Citadel game will be admitted into Carolina Stadium after the stadium has been cleared.
5:27 p.m. – The VT/Bucknell game was halted at 5:27 p.m. in the top of the sixth inning. Virginia Tech leads Bucknell 11-4. The Athletics Department and the NCAA are monitoring the weather situation and play will resume when conditions allow.
4:29 p.m. – The VT/Bucknell game has resumed at 4:22 p.m., following a 1-hour and 44-minute weather delay. Because the game is currently in the top of the second inning, fans should be advised of the impact the delay will have on tonight’s game between South Carolina and the Citadel.
Once the VT/Bucknell game ends, there will be at least a 50-minute gap before the South Carolina/Citadel game starts.

3:54 p.m. – The VT/Bucknell game will resume at approximately 4:20 p.m. The game was in the top of the second inning when it was halted at 2:38 p.m.
3:38 p.m. – The NCAA Regional game between Virginia Tech and Bucknell at Carolina Stadium is currently in a rain delay. The game was halted at 2:38 p.m. in the top of the second inning because of approaching weather, and rain began to fall at Carolina Stadium at 3:12 p.m. Athletics Deptartment officials and the NCAA are still watching the weather situation closely, and once conditions allow, the game will resume. As of right now, it is not known if the weather will affect the 7 p.m. gametime for tonight’s game between South Carolina and the Citadel. We will provide that information once the decision is made.
