With three fall tournaments complete, Gamecock women’s tennis head coach Arlo Elkins gave a recap on Tuesday of his team’s performance so far. Below are some individual highlights this fall.

• Madeleine Saari-Byström leads the team in singles victories with a stellar 8-1 record with all eight wins coming consecutively after she dropped her initial match of the fall.
• Dominika Kanakova has the squad’s best doubles record as an individual at 8-2. She and Anya Morgina are 5-0 together this fall while Kanakova and Dijana Stojic are 3-1 together. Kanakova has also played one doubles match with Katerina Popova.
• Dijana Stojic is the highest ranked player this fall at No. 58 in the nation, the top ranking of her career. Anya Morgina is South Carolina’s other ranked player at No. 70.
• Anya Morgina won her respective singles flight at the SEC Fall Coaches Classic and snagged a doubles title playing with Dominika Kanakova to post a combined 6-0 record at the tournament.
• The Gamecocks had a combined 26-1 record at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic to dominate the clay-court event.
• Dijana Stojic posted a 3-0 record at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic in singles and earned the championship trophy in the process by virtue of a point system since the event was played in a round-robin format. Katerina Popova, who also went 3-0, earned the runner-up trophy.
• Anya Morgina and Miljana Jocic claimed the doubles championship at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic.
• Madeleine Saari-Byström won her singles flight at the Furman Fall Classic, dropping a total of just six games in her three matches.
• Dominika Kanakova went 3-0 at the Furman Fall Classic to win her flight and extend her winning streak to six matches.
• The Gamecocks are a combined 34-12 (.739) in singles this fall and 17-7 (.708) in doubles.
