COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina cross country team enters the regional rankings for the first time this year with a United States Track & Field and Cross Country Association (USTFCCCA) Southeast Region ranking of No. 14.
The Gamecocks are coming off a 19th-place finish at the Minnesota Griak Invitational last week. Freshman Liz Locke was selected the SEC Freshman of the Week as well.
South Carolina will compete at the Charlotte Invitational next Friday afternoon at McAlpine Park. The race will run at 4 p.m.
