CLEMSON, S.C. – South Carolina senior Michael Zajac earned his fourth victory of the season in the weight throw after hitting a mark of 68’7 (20.90m). All five of Zajac’s throws were further than the second place finisher.

A pair of women’s pole vaulters tied for fourth overall in the invitational section as Allie Nicosia and Angie Rummans both cleared 12’0 ½ (3.67m) for the tie.

South Carolina’s women’s throwers all competed in the shot put invitational and took home fourth, fifth and seventh places. Breanna Radford was fourth at 46’1 ¼ (14.05m) and Stacee Roberts followed in fifth at 45’2 ¼ (13.77m). Katie Vuckovich threw 45’1 (13.74m) to take seventh overall. In the men’s shot put, Louis Day threw 50’11 (15.52m) to take ninth.

Freshman Eyong Oma took 14th in the men’s 400-meter invitational at 23.09.

South Carolina hosts the Gamecock Invitational next Saturday at the Indoor Field House.
